“A Wall Street View of E&C”

In this presentation, the speaker will present observations on the E&C sector based on 13 years of following it, along with feedback from investors, key debates, an end market review, and a look at disruptive trends.

Speaker:

Steven M. Fisher, CFA, CPA, Executive Director and Senior Analyst, UBS Investment Research – Machinery, Engineering & Construction and Industrial Companies

Mr. Fisher is an Executive Director and senior analyst in the general industrials group of UBS Investment Research covering Machinery, Engineering & Construction and Industrial companies. He began at UBS in 2001 as an associate analyst covering the Machinery and Multi-industry sectors.

Mr. Fisher has been recognized as a top analyst in rankings by the Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor Magazine, Forbes, and the Financial Times.

Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Fisher worked in the investment banking division of Prudential Securities focusing on the consumer and business services industry. Before that, he was a senior associate in the Business Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Fisher holds an MBA in finance from Cornell University and a BS in business/accounting from Boston University. Mr. Fisher is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.

Location & Parking:

Grand Hall in the Rice Ley Student Center

Detailed campus maps are available on the web at http://www.rice.edu/maps/. The Ley Student Center is located in the central part of Rice campus. The Central Campus Garage, which is the closest parking facility, is located to the across the street from the Student Center.

In the possibility the underground parking is full, the second closest parking is the West Lot. Continue down the Laboratory Loop Road to the stop sign. The campus also offers a bus shuttle that runs about every 15 minutes as it loops the campus.
