"The ACE Mentor Program of America - Building for
the Future"
The construction industry workforce is in a crisis. By 2012,
there will be more than 1 million job openings throughout the industry.
That’s just over four years away! The ACE Mentor Program of America is
doing something about the crisis by introducing high school students to
real-life, real-world experiences in the construction industry through
its highly acclaimed after-school mentoring program. Charles H.
Thornton, Ph.D., P.E., founder of the ACE Mentor Program, will share
insights into this program, how it works and the impact it is having on
thousands of high school students each year.
