Ray Piper, MCMI, PMP, is President of BIS, a Project Management training, and consulting company established in Houston since 1994. Ray was educated in England and has a B.A. in Industrial Management and an MBA in Business Administration. He has held senior management positions in project controls, construction and project management associated with the engineering and construction industry.
Ray has held leadership positions in the PMI, American Association of Cost Engineers, the Greater New Orleans and the Houston Business Roundtable. He is a Member of the Project Management Institute and the Chartered Management Institute in the UK. As a recognized public speaker, he has published and presented many papers related to Project Management.
He currently teaches Project Management at Rice University and is an adjunct professor at the University of Houston where he teaches International Project Management at the Masters level.
